Company Culture
Started as a partnership in 1961 and incorporated in 1973, Design Resources Group has built a reputation for meticulous attention to detail through all of the design and construction phases of a project. Our company culture is based on open communication and collaborative effort on each project. We understand the benefit of using our combined experiences to solve problems and we promote that involvement to all of our designers and project managers. We believe in research and fostering a learning environment. Toward that end, we have established a paid summer intern program for local architecture students. Students are paid while they learn about their chosen field in a practical setting. Our team is focused on the latest developments in technology and sustainable building designs to ensure long-lasting results in a superior facility. We also concentrate on giving our employees the responsibility for the success of each project. We believe that with this responsibility comes the satisfaction that a successful project can produce. The result is a happy cohesive staff with an average term of over eight years. In addition to our extensive portfolio of educational facilities, Design Resources Group has completed hundreds of diversified projects, including feasibility studies, maintenance facilities for the Department of Transportation, the Department of Community Affairs complex in Trenton, various U.S. Post Offices in New Jersey, and training facilities for the U.S. Army and the Army National Guard.
