John Dias has over 37 years of experience with the design and construction of new and existing buildings throughout NYC. John is recognized in the industry for meeting project completion schedules, budget and compliance with regulatory and sustainability requirements. He is hands-on, detail oriented and fosters a “Team” approach to every project to ensure all design team members are part of the integrated design process and are accountable for their work. John also brings this “Team” approach to projects in construction to expedite responses to field questions and the timely review of submittals. Prior to joining DRG, John held positions with the New York City School Construction Authority (SCA) including Director for In-house Capacity Design Projects with the Architecture and Engineering Department and as a Project Officer with the Construction Management Department. Additionally, John was a Senior Project Manager with The McKissack Group and a Senior Architect with the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY).
