Design Resources Group was asked to investigate the cause of water infiltration in the existing headquarters building for the Middlesex County Board of Social Services (MCBSS). The results of the investigation led to a contract for complete replacement of the masonry façade and all windows. DRG also called for a modification to the window framing system to further protect the envelope from unwanted water infiltration. The design of the new façade system also provides the building with additional insulation which helps the MCBSS save on energy costs.
Toilet Rooms and Masonry Façade
Design Resources Group was asked to design complete renovations to six (6) gang toilet rooms and two (2) executive toilet rooms for the Middlesex County Board of Social Services (MCBSS). In addition to all new water conserving fixtures, our team created new finish plans for floor tile, wall tile, counter tops, partitions, paint and ceilings. The construction work was phased so that operations in the building could continue with minimal interruption.
